NOCK offers two areas of services for
chronically ill children in need of assistive technology devices.

Expressions
Augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices
enable children, who otherwise cannot speak, the ability to communicate with teachers,
friends and family members - sometimes for the very first time in their life.
NOCK's Partners can determine the type of AAC
device needed and customize the technology to fit each individual child.
NOCK provides funding for qualified children so that
they may have equal opportunity to basic and higher education, better social
interaction and an overall improved quality of life.

Wheelchairs for Kids
Customized, molded seating systems offer freedom for many
kids who will spend their life in a wheelchair. A properly
built seating system can not only provide independence for a child but also extend
his/her life. NOCK works with RESNA
certified partners to establish the highest quality of
service and expertise available in the assistive technology industry.
