Welcome to NOCK.

The mission of the National Organization Caring for Kids is to improve the quality of life for special needs children through the use of assistive technology.


NOCK is dedicated to providing Programs that improve the quality of life of chronically ill kids across America. Currently, NOCK is focusing its Services on assistive technology. It is estimated that thousands of children do not receive medically-prescribed equipment such as wheelchairs and AAC devices due to economic barriers.

DynaVox in Use To provide the needed assistive technology, NOCK has established a National Partnership Network that meet the strictest standards as set forth by RESNA to ensure quality care.

NOCK is a national 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, nonprofit organization as determined by the IRS and is governed by an all-volunteer Board. NOCK is a registered charity (#20272) and is listed on the state of Washington's registered charity site at www.secstate.wa.gov/charities.
